Boyndie Wind Farm's Community Fund was set up in 2020 and the Board decided to use the funds for environmental and education purposes. We reached out to schools within the catchment area of the wind farm (30km) and have since build positive ties with several schools.

Schools produce reports on what they are using their grant funding for, including several growing projects. You can read reports from each year below. Boyndie Co-op has also hosted wind turbine site visits for schools in the Banff area.
